A partner in the firm since 2021, Tatiana Gurbanov is highly skilled in the field of real estate, with a particular emphasis on tenancy law, where she has been awarded the title of Certified Specialist SBA in Tenancy Law by the Swiss Bar Association.
Her recognized skills earned her appointment as an assessor judge on the “Tribunal des baux et loyers”, representing the interests of landlords.
She is a regular speaker at conferences organized by the “Chambre genevoise immobilière” (CGI), the “Association professionnelle des gérants et courtiers” (APGCI) and the “Commission de formation permanente de l’Ordre des avocats”. She collaborates with the Faculty of Law of the University of Neuchâtel, whether through publications in the renowned Newsletter (https://bail.ch/bail/page/index) or at the “Sémainaire sur le droit du bail”, a not-to-be-missed study day for real estate professionals. She enjoys sharing her experience with managers and brokers, particularly during the property law classes given as part of the IMMOBASE course (https://www.apgci.ch/formations/).
Her knowledge of legal issues relating to real estate is also an asset when appointed by the court as deputy for the management of assets and representation of persons. In this field, she holds a CAS in Health Law.
She is also involved in inheritance and matrimonial matters, where real estate assets require specialized skills.
She obtained her Master of Laws in Civil and Criminal Law from the University of Geneva, during which she was awarded the prize for best first-series results by the “Société genevoise de droit et legislation” (SGDL) in 2010. After receiving her Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Profession a two-year internship, she was admitted to the bar at the top of her class (1st prize).
Tatiana Gurbanov is also a member of the “Association des avocats spécialistes en droit du bail“, the Swiss Bar Association (SBA), the Geneva Bar Association (ODAGE) and President of the “Association des genevoises PLR”.
